Welcome to my website. I bought my first classic car, a Riley Elf in 1982 and carried out a home restoration. GMA 321G has long since disappeared but my passion for classic cars has remained!
I have worked in the motor trade since 1987 and spent 15 years as a professional used car buyer for large organizations. In 2001 I started selling classic cars with my business partner, Nick James, initially as a hobby business to fund classic car tours and rallies all over the world, then in 2004 we set up Birchfield Classics, which has built an enviable reputation, selling beautiful classic cars mainly British, from the 60's and 70's through our two centres in Stockport, Cheshire and near Woburn, Bedfordshire.
In 2013 I set up another smaller operation under my own name, based near Woburn, specialising in motorcycles and value classics such as the ubiquitous Morris Minor. I also provide various services to anyone who needs help buying, selling or marketing a classic car.
